July's free tutorial looks at geometry tracking within PFTrack and is taken from our Camera Tracking for VFX Course. This tutorial reveals how the accurate use of geometry can 'solve' the motion of an object, enabling CG elements to interact with live action objects.

The tutorial will explain the process of exporting to Maya and demonstrate how to correctly align the solution within the 3D space. You'll also spend time understanding the importance of checking the camera attributes, as well as the image plane and render settings. The tutorial concludes with manual manipulation of the camera key frames within the graph editor.
