Be part of a unique High-Def Video Collaboration
What are the rules? You don’t need to be an experienced scriptwriter. This is open to anyone who has an idea they think can be communicated in 60 seconds. Come along and develop you ideas! The finished piece will need to combine
1) A HD studio shoot including Visual Effects (like Blue Screen) and
2) CGI or traditional Animation (for instance animated props or characters)
The duration of the piece needs to be one minute long and ACHIEVABLE within a short period of production time. However we are ambitious and will prefer to take risks with unusual ideas rather than play safe. What do I get out of it? A chance to see your idea made into an HD film, and shown on the big screen across the region. Plus you get a chance to learn about High Definition video and take part in the production.
What’s it for?
The work will be screened as part of FDMX’s Eastern Lights, an exciting new festival made up of a number of innovative events across the East of England running from 30th March until the 9th of April 2009.
Book in to a Creative Think-Tank at your University, led by experienced writer Keith Tutt and storyboard artist John Williams who will help us formulate YOUR ideas!
