Calling local animators!

Sat 10 July, 10am until 4pm the screen will be showing back to back animations made by individals , students and community groups from Norfolkto showcase the talent we have on our doorstep.

If you have any animations which are suitable for a young family audience,  then you too can put your work forward to be considered for the screenings.

During normal daily output the Big Screen throughout the year shows content made by the community and individuals three times each hour which can be a mixture of photographic slideshows, films, local band's music videos, and animations.

Helen Selleck from Norwich City Council says
"We have already shown animations created by children, students and professionals on the Big Screen and they have been very popular. With more than 10,000 people walking past the screen on Saturday alone this is a great opportunity to showcase local work and very enjoyable for those who watch it"

The Big Screen is a partnership between Norwich City Council, London 2012, The BBC and Chapelfeld.  It's in place to celebrate local arts, sport and culture on the run up to London 2012 Olympic, on Sat 10 July the public can see for themselves the creative, and inspiring animations that have been made by local students, and community groups  in our area.
