Exciting news: The Brothers McLeod, whose short animation Codswallop was nominated in this year’s BAFTA short animation category, will be involved in programming the 2009 Flip Animation Festival. Greg and Myles have been involved in the festival since it began in 2004 and last year provided the eye catching illustrations and ident for the festival branding.

It’s not just Flip. You can find animation at Wolverhampton Art Gallery until 25th April. Motion Disabled is a moving digital sculpture from the artist and animator Simon McKeown. He uses motion capture technology to record the physical movements of ‘difference’: physically impaired people with conditions such as Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy and Brittle Bones.
