London Short Film Festival is open for submissions
So here’s what you need to know:
· All films must be submitted by filmmakers living or working in the UK.
· LSFF accepts shorts of any and every genre*, as long as the running length is under 60 minutes.
· To qualify, entries must have been completed after September 2009
· All entries to be submitted on DVD
* But for those who require more information, LSFF accept drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, animation, lo/no-budget, music videos, or a combination of any or all of the above.
Deadlines
Earlybird 12 September 2011: fee £10
Deadline 7 October 2011: fee £15
Final 14 October 2011: fee £20
Lo/No-Budget Films
LSFF also have a category for lo/no budget films produced in the UK. Any film that runs at less than 5 minutes and that cost less than £500 to make can be entered direct to the Festival for free by downloading and submitting the form. The deadline for this category is 7th October 2011.
LSFF2012 will showcase the best in new UK short film, and will take place between 6th-15th January 2012, at the ICA, the Curzon Soho, the Roxy Bar & Screen, and across other London wide cinemas and venues. Lose the post-Christmas and NYE winter blues with 10 days of noise and pictures, exploding across London this January.
