Norwich Sound & Vision Film Festival Call
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Norwich is a city rich in cultural activity such as media, literature and publishing,
visual arts, multimedia and performing arts. It recently made an appearance
in the NME Future 50 to highlight its growing reputation as one of the
most vibrant music scenes in the UK. Norwich has also been shortlisted for UK
Capital of Culture 2013. The East of England houses many world class multimedia
facilities and is currently an extremely fertile breeding ground for new,
innovative start-up companies in the Creative Industries.
As part of the convention there is to be a Short Film festival, exhibiting all
shortlisted films in the Fusion digital gallery in The Forum in Norwich. The exhibition
will be free to view and will run from Monday 13
th until Saturday 18th
September. Fusion is Europe’s largest permanent digital screen gallery. The
screen measures an incredible 24 by 2.5 metres.

We are looking for short films of up to 15 minutes each that use music as a
common axis. These can be Dramas, Documentaries or Experimental films. We
will also consider Music Videos which display an original approach to the
